Congratulations, you have lived to learn another day!
Once you have finished your web quest, be sure to inform me so that I can begin your assessment. Also, take a moment to embed your Glog onto your webpage and write about your experience. This assignment could be used for the multimedia component of your portfolio.
When all of the students have completed their quests, we will turn our computer room into an exhibition hall. All of the students will open their Glogs and a gallery tour will commence!
Take some time to walk around the class and review the work of your peers. Remember, we all benefit by sharing our learning, experiences, and perspectives with one another.
After you have had a chance to see a few different representations of themes, you will be assigned a Glog to assess using the rubric that we developed together as a class. Once you have finished your peer review, you will take some time to assess your own thematic representation as well.
The peer assessment and self assessment will be combined with the teacher assessment to produce your final grade for the assignment. Please be as accurate as you can in your evaluation and remember to carefully read the rubric while making your verdicts.
